On October 23, the 2024 Dongguan Zhangmutou Plastic Industry International Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Plastic Expo") was grand unveiled in Zhangmutou plastic market, and 400 booths on the site focused on displaying new materials, new equipment and new processes in the plastic industry at home and abroad. It is reported that the plastic Expo will last until October 25, is expected to attract 80,000 visitors.

In September 2024, the price index of recycled plastic pellets in China was 759.6 points, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9% and a month on month decrease of 1.2%.

The 2024 Chinaplas Rubber & Plastics Exhibition was held from April 23 to April 26, 2024 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai Hongqiao.
